What a Week!
Monday, May 23rd, 2011
Last week was quite eventful here at River Glass Designs. Megan from accounts gave birth to her second child. A beautiful baby girl named Addison. She is just as pretty as her mom…she will probably be just as bossy too. Good Luck Jamie. ( that’s Megan’s husband…Yes, Jamie IS a boys name!). In conjunction with that Gary and Diane inherited Megan’s first born for the week while she recuperated. They quickly realized they are far too old, physically and emotionally to have a 4 year old running around. Which I’m pretty sure they knew heading into this…
Justin and Whitney celebrated their 6th anniversary. Whitney celebrated 6 years of marriage and Justin celebrated 6 years of having a wife who’s a million times hotter than him. ( I love you Justin!…I mean that in the manliest way possible…or do I…)
Jonathan’s sister got married, he celebrated by diving into pond while fully clothed, I think he was the best man…(I also love you Jonathan, but in a less manly way…)
My wife left me…for 3 weeks…to go to Europe…Which means…Free at last, free at last, great God Almighty I’m Free At Last…free to sponge of my parents til my wife gets back home…I need to be taken care of
And John…Beautiful Ebony John…went golfing
And that about sums up our week. Now let’s go sell some Frameless Showers!

Weekend In Review
Monday, May 17th, 2010
It was quite an eventful weekend. Saturday our lead estimator, Justin, celebrated his 5th anniversary with his wife, and former River Glass Designs employee, Whitney. HI WHITNEY! That’s right folks; Justin is not just an excellent design specialist but, a great husband as well. Proving something I have always known…Justin thinks he’s better than me… that pompous little…
On Sunday I was dragged, went to Howard County’s Wine in the Woods with my wife. It’s a festival where local wineries, artist and craftsmen can show off their wonderful creations. But more importantly, it’s somewhere I can get a smoked turkey leg, a funnel cake and fried Oreo’s. Yeah that’s right, AND Fried Oreo’s. Now if you’re thinking that Port-O-Potties and face painting doesn’t scream “BUY WINE”, let me prove you wrong before you get all judgey and embarrass yourself.
At this event, there was a well dressed gentleman, bowtie and all, who went around rinsing out peoples glasses after their tastings. Pretty sophisticated huh? Of course, he was on stilts and used a water gun to rinse out the glasses…you know what, I can’t talk to you any more…Judgey McJudgerson!

Congratulations!
Monday, March 8th, 2010
John Nelson Jr. has been in the glass industry for 25 years. However there is something else he has done for the last 25 years as well. He has been a loving, devoted, husband. And that is much more impressive than the ability to work with glass.
Here at the office John serves as our General Manager and there is no one better suited for the job. We are a better company with him at the helm. He proves that he is a man of integrity and honor day in and day out and provides us all with a shining example not only secularly, but personally as well.
Congratulations John on the last 25 years and we look forward to the next 25. Happy Anniversary from your River Glass Designs Family.
